Jason has known his co-founder, Tony Mendina, for about ten years. Mr. Fitzmaurice is co-artistic director of In Blood of Innocence. His previous credits include working with Mr. Mendina on Sound design on the world premier of Blood Bondage, and as "web concept designer" for that production. He has also worked as sound designer, and sound engineer for the Dallas Area Comedy Troupe Mild Dementia, and as sound designer, and sound engineer on the Dallas Premier of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Beth Henley's L-Play. In addition to co-producing with Tony Mendina, and Vikas Adam of ProgreXssive, Mr. Fitzmaurice directed  from a script co-written with Tony Mendina. Mr. Fitzmaurice has also co-produced, adapted(from a play by William Butler Yeats), and directed IBOI's second short film Calvary.

His professional theatrical experience is limited to sound and web design for the ProgreXssive Arts production Blood Bondage, though he founded--and toured with--a Native American dance company. Tony served as assistant director, and co-producer, on the production of Blood and Stone, which he co-wrote. Mr. Mendina also appeared in, and co-produced Calvary
